Exceptional
✓ One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff are fantastic, they help you with a lot of things. The room was great, the beds gave you a lot of privacy and space. Everything was very clean and organized. There's plenty of space if you need to work and the internet is good. I'll miss it!
✗ It's not really a problem, but the hostel is a little further away from the bus station. You should consider it a good walk to get there.

✓ Great location, friendly staff and comfortable spaces.
✗ I expected to see a complete pair of bedsheets on my spot, instead for only one sheet. It's a matter of hygiene. Aside from that, everything was great.

✓ It exceeded my expectations, seriously great, almost 100% privacy in 6-bed dormitory, the best hostel I have been so far, ever! And very clean, super value for money, if one day I am back to Chania definitely I'd stay in Kumba again, highly recommended

Fabulous
✓ Very cool hostel with a capsule style beds, - you have your own big locker, light and plug next to the bed and very efficient curtain. The kitchen had all you need and there's a very nice sitting area. Wifi worked great. Staff was nice and helpful.

✓ Beautiful hostel, very well decorated. Clean, very comfortable capsule beds, good mattress. Kitchen with everything you need to cook, delightful l common area. Close to 3 supermarkets, just 15 minutes walking to Old Town.

✓ It's probably the only decent hostel in Chania. If they don't have availability, I'd suggest you go to Rethymno, which is just around 1 hour away, and much nicer than Chania, easier to get a place in a hostel there than in Chania.
✗ One of the staff, the lady that cleans the hostel, was kind of weird and rude. Bathroom is outside the room, shared with males.

✓ Nice common arrears to meet people and socialize. Lots of bathrooms are always convenient too
✗ Room was small but bunk bed was comfortable, however the AC was so high that ir was freezing

There is free goverment parking all around us, and it is nnormaly easy to find a spot.
