Staff like Susanna were wonderful. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are comfortable and the views are incomparable.

There was nonstop construction until night and I just suffered a head injury and wasn’t feeling well so it made it a million times worse.

The location is good. The room had some space and a nice view. The bed was comfortable. Elevators are working quickly. Rooms are cleaned daily.

The facilities in the hotel room I stayed in are pretty outdated. After opening the window, it was not possible to close it again. It turned out that the window handle is somehow dysfunctional. The hotel called a technician to close the window, and I was told not to open the window again. Yet, the window was not properly closed. Cold winds and noise from the adjacent streets were coming into the room. The Wi-Fi in the room was pretty bad. People in the hotel were going down to the reception to have a working internet connection. The shower was not waterproof. Taking a shower resulted in a flooding of the bathroom. The flush of the toilet was not always working properly. The quality of the breakfast was mediocre. Fresh vegetables were offered but in a small amount. Interestingly, the hotel offers only powder coffee for breakfast but sells proper coffee in its own café in the ground floor. As the cherry on top, the hotel charges for water which was supplied in the room (nothing else was offered). As an answer to my question, why the hotel is charging for water in the room, I was pointed to signs apparently explaining the price of 300 AMD per bottle. However, the signs were written neither in a Latin alphabet nor in English (and did not contain the number of 300). An information about non-complimentary water was not given in the hotel room but the receptionist claimed that this information is, apparently, stated in the hotel room.

Bed and pillows were great. Breakfast plentiful.

Booking.com upgrade was poor. The Classic was worse than Basic. I downgraded to Basic to get window view. Rooms are dated. TV had 2 out of 4 working channels. TV buttons gone! Remote control had only 1 battery! Shower didn't drain and flooded floor. They burst into room to fix unannounced. Didn't repair. Damp smell in bathroom as a result. Cleaner pounced as soon as left room each day! Bedside light health hazard. Took Half Board with evening meal but was charged full Classic Menu on first night and chased down street until paid! Made it awkward the following nights where meal was what they served, no choice!

Even though they say they have a 24-hour reception and I arrived on the same day that it was past midnight and it was November 18th, they charged me a full half day fee. Walls The rooms were thin, so that sound could be easily heard from the next room. The door to the room was old, used, and difficult to open and close. The floor of the bathroom was hollow and fragmented, and the water did not go down easily. The bed in my room was unsuitable. Two single beds were glued together, often opening between them. When we turned on the tap to the end, we heard a continuous beeping sound, which was annoying, and we could hear it comfortably from our next room and our room. There were no slippers in the room. There was not enough light in the room. Instead of one or two suitable lamps, two reading lights were placed on the ceiling, which was not enough at all. The ad said there was an LCD TV, but there was a very small, old TV that I did not turn on at all.

I liked the location, the receptionists and the cleaning lady were nice. I loved the view from the room.

The hotel was old and not renovated for (I think) min 10 years. The carpets need to be either washed up really intensively or completely changed.
