β Great atmosphere
β Little bit cleaning needed
β The location of the woodland lodges was great and peaceful, just on the edge of the resort, in amongst the trees. Easy to walk to restaurants and browse shops in Aviemore. The children's play area and nature walk were right next to the lodges.
β The lodges were a bit run down and didn't reflect the prices charged Could do with freshening up. Although there was a small verandah overlooking trees outside there was no outdoor furniture. You had to drag a chair outside to enjoy the setting.
β Central location, clean, spacious.
β Ideal location. Very good layout. Comfortable place to stay.
β It is a little tired. The door lock on our lodge was difficult to operate.
β Breakfast was delicious, plenty to chose from. Full cooked breakfast, continental, cereal, toast and fruit. Woodland lodges very spacious, all bedrooms en suite. Great quiet location but in walking distance of shops and restaurants.
β Kitchen is very compact. Only a small fridge freezer, not ideal for large family or large group. No outside seating area when lovely weather.
β Nice and peace. Very clean and comfortable.
β Bed too soft
β Visited Aviemore along with 6 friends and we stayed in two of the lodges. These being fairly spacious meant we all had a bedroom and private bathroom and were impressed with the size of the accommodation. All being clean tidy and well equiped meant they exceeded our expectations
β Our visit was mid 2023, long after BREXIT, however the town itself seemed to be suffering from a lack of staffing in many bars, restaurants and other facilites which either closed early or offered very limited timings for their food service.
β Great location. Comfortable layout.
β Carpets were a bit worn.
