A good hotel for the money in this area within walking distance to the beach. We would like to see the management handle

✓ The bed was extremely comfortable. It was very close to Asilomar Conference center that provides a walkway to the beach - a 10 minute walk. It was very quiet which was surprising as this is a pet friendly hotel. The room was very clean. We would stay again.

✗ The hotel in general is in need of updating. Most of the doors need to be re-painted. Our door was hard to close so we had to slam it each time. Our friend’s room had a loud fan in the bedroom that came on every time you turned on the light. Their bathroom door squeaked. The flower beds had weeds in them. They weren’t serving any breakfast because of Covid (but aren’t we somewhat past that now?). The coffee in the rooms was not good (hardly any grounds in the little packages). Overall, the place needs to be gone over by a detailed maintenance person to fix all the minor issues.
