Wonders is an absolute paradise, a simply brilliant place to stay in Aruba

✓ Wow! This place is a perfect 10 in all aspects for me. I've been fortunate to stay in some great places around the world but I think Wonders is now one of my favourites. The pool area with gardens is fantastic and great to sit in and enjoy nature - I was skeptical that the pictures might be too good to be true, but on the contrary, the place is even nicer in person! It was like sitting in paradise. The location of Wonders in Oranjestad is perfect and was a big reason why I booked here. It did not disappoint and in my opinion much better than being holed up in one of the big resorts on Eagle Beach or Palm Beach. Just a 10-15 minute walk down to the main part of Oranjestad which was really handy. There are also a few supermarkets a short distance away. My room was excellent, very well furnished, clean and tidy with everything I needed including air con and a fantastic shower - both essentials in such a hot place. Housekeeping was also fantastic and kept my room clean and refreshed. The WiFi is excellent too, there are a couple of access points to connect to depending on your room location. I took the option of having breakfast on a couple of days and that too was excellent, really great quality and served with friendliness - highly recommended and great choice. Wonders is a very safe and secure hotel, with locked gates and car park - this means I always had peace of mind and was able to park my rental car at the property at night. It really is an absolute gem in Oranjestad and made for an excellent holiday base in Aruba. There were days I was just as happy sitting by the pool than exploring one of Aruba's many fantastic beaches. As for the staff, I cannot praise them enough. They made me feel at home right from the check in and were always on hand to help with any questions I had including helpful tips or suggestions. I had a very delayed arrival in Aruba but the communication was always excellent which put me at ease. Thanks!

✗ There is not a single thing I didn't like about Wonders. Everything is perfect. I suppose there can sometimes be a bit of barking at night from dogs in the area, but there are a lot of stray dogs in Aruba and just a part of life there.

A Haven of Relaxation and Thoughtfulness!

✓ From the moment I walked in, I felt like family. The staff greeted us with genuine warmth, instantly making us feel welcome. The room was spotless and they had thought of every little detail you could think of even beach bags, sunscreen, bug spray. The backyard is an absolute sanctuary—beautiful and tranquil. It's like they scooped up a slice of paradise and plonked it right there To sum it up: A+ for cleanliness, comfort, and all those thoughtful extras. If relaxation had an address, this hotel would be it. Would return in a heartbeat. Cheers to the dream team running this place!

It was awesome!

✓ I really enjoyed this place and it went over my expectations. It’s very cozy and I love the atmosphere, the trees and plants around the pool are beautiful! I like to have breakfast near the pool. It was so peaceful and quiet. Teska was amazing! She gave me a lot of information about how to get around the island! She is very nice and friendly! The room was very big and I would recommend this place 100%! I hope to be back soon with my family.

Prob the best option in Aruba if you don't fancy staying in a resort

✓ This is a super comfortable and cozy place --- one of those large two-storey houses with plenty of space, natural light, a breeze coming through, tables by the garden and a swimming pool. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast options are amazing. On top of it, Teska was a great host, professional and yet personable. I wish I could have stayed longer.

✗ The location is something to take into account. This is a quiet residential area what will require a 20min walk or so before you're in Oranjestad (which isn't necessarily a tremendous place, feeling a bit like Miami or some of its open-air shopping areas). Going to the beach will also require a car or a tour unless you brave 40-50min through unremarkable residential streets --- though the place does offer a "beach shuttle" drop-off twice every morning.
