great hotel with comfy beds and exceptional location

Bare bones of a hotel, and staff is easily swamped

✓ Since I had to go to the Toluca airport, this hotel's location was good. I liked that it had ample parking with a security guard watching over it, and that the room, although bare, was clean. I also liked the fact that I was able to check in late in the day, actually I got there after 9 pm, but my room was readily available. The room's wifi is all right too.

✗ It being January, the room was kind of cold and the ventilator in the bathroom was on all the time, I couldn't find how to turn it off so I just kept the bathroom door closed so that the room wouldn't get too cold. I looked for an extra blanket and found one in the closet, but it had a couple of gashes in it as if something sharp had slashed through it at some point. Still, I was able to use it as an extra layer in bed, and I slept well. The wall paper above the bed also presented damage as if from a sharp object too. But the worst part of my stay was the next morning. I had been told that breakfast was from 7 to 11 am. I went to the dining area a bit after 8 am and the buffet had been ravaged by a group of high school or college aged students, and there was nobody to let me know if the buffet was going to be restocked. I served myself some coffee and went to the reception desk to ask, but the single lady attending the desk was overwhelmed by this group of students and professors in the process of checking out or something. I waited around for about 10 minutes and decided it wasn't worth it, so I just left my cardkey on the desk and left. THEY NEED MORE STAFF.
