Fabulous

✓ Fabulous location, right on the beach, with a short walk to the reef for snorkelling with colourful fish. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful, food at the restaurant was delicious and the Fijian dancing was delightful.

Managers dodgy staff underpaid but strive to make stay enjoyable.

✓ Rooms very good, serviced daily, menu extensive, best beach in Fiji. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to intercontinental resort so can visit this luxurious facility, and play golf etc.

✗ They charge a premium for tours, some mark-ups 300%!!! I caught a stomach bug as did others. Pretty isolated need to bring supplies. A couple paid for upgraded room but when they arrived not available and were not reimbursed the difference. When I complained on the tour markup manager Narwal lied stating tours organised by different company and denied any responsibility, when I questioned this he got cranky. No first aid on hand.

Lovely 3 nights to rest

✓ It was tranquil with not too many people, on a beautiful beach. Staff were lovely

✗ My room had a connecting door that was not soundproof, so I could hear all of the couple’s conversations. It would been nice to have staff offer drinks by the pool rather than having to get up and go to the main bar to order.

✓ The cottages have the most comfortable beds I found here bures beds average, 2 singles pushed together. Beach is the best too. Staff are friendly and helpful.

✗ There's not much to do here, cuppla rainy days gets boring. It's pretty isolated, and the meals are pricey as are the rooms, which are adjoined to another so noisy neighbours are annoying. I got a bug as did others, not sure how but we were laid up for a day or so.

Beautiful stay right on the beach. Waking to the sound of crashing waves is just a treat!

✓ I really loved the location and the beach was just beautiful. Also the dinner menu was a standout, in particular try the Tandoori Chicken!! The team working there were really friendly and willing to help with anything you need.

✗ My bure was the one closest to the bar and the music each night was loud and on some occasions went well into the morning even when no one was in the bar. As I was there to have some quiet time, it made sleeping a bit difficult but I ended up catching up in the late afternoons instead before it all kicked off again. Not a major issue, but I had to accommodate it.
