Hostal Carbonara

A pleasant stay.

✓ Very central. The hotel is like a central start point to go anywhere. With the window closed you don’t really hear the noises from the street. The staff was really nice and helpful. The water is hot enough. The bed is comfortable enough.

✗ The shampoo and shower gel for the first day were missing. And the thing to kill mosquitos is missing. You could hear a bit sound of walking in the corridor but it’s not a big problem.

Fabulous

✓ The location was excellent. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach and it was very close to all the restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Even with the central location it was very quiet at night.

✗ The only thing I didn't really like was the size of the shower. It was very small and there was no place to put your soap or shampoo bottles.

Loud nights and warm afternoons without air conditioning or even a fan but the location is great

✓ Very nice that it had a small kitchen available. I find the kitchen indispensable when traveling in galicia yet hard to find!

✗ The kitchen was very poorly equipped with only one single Fork and no plates but at least there was a fridge and a stove and a cafetera

Very noisy, great location

✓ It's close to the beach and shops. Checkout is at 12 but I could leave my backpack there for a few hours.

✗ It's very noisy. I could hear people snoring, and they weren't even sleeping on the same floor as I was! The room was not very clean.

Excellent staff, pleasant stay

✓ The location was great, close to many of the shops, check-in/check-out was very easy and staff were so kind and communicative. The shower was hot, the water pressure was great, and there was an ample amount of space to settle into.

✗ The room was pretty dark with only one window looking inside the building so there was very little circulation which was difficult because the cleaning supplies aggravated my allergies. I took a claritin and got over it but if you have scent sensitivites you should know this. In addition both nights it was pretty loud. I'm a heavy sleeper so put on my headphones and went to bed.

A nice hostel

✓ The stay was nice, it had a good location and the room was clean. We appreciated having our own bathroom, the wifi worked well and the check in process was smooth.

✗ The room was not very spacious, but for a short stay it did not matter. There was no space to eat breakfast, so you have to eat in the city. The seagulls were very noisy at night, but there's not much you can do about that.
