Exceptional
✓ An amazing hotel, clean and beautiful, with a nice onsen. The breakfast buffet offered a simply incredible choice of dishes, I would have had to go to multiple restaurants to try all of those foods. At the price of around $35, the room was quite affordable as well.
✗ The only downside is the location. It's easy to get to the Jōzankei hot springs area by bus, which is a great day trip even if you don't want to use the onsen. There is a lot to see there - I recommend to visit the Hoheikyo dam as well as the (free) illumination tour of the Jozankeifutami park. It's simply incredible. But to get to Sapporo is a bit harder. You can use a bus, however that is not in Google Maps and can be confusing. The train station is around 40 mins away by foot.

✓ Enjoyed our shopping spree at the hotel lobby souvenir shop. Managed to buy very nice blouses & scarves. Also Hotel is very near to AEON where we did our last minute shopping spree.
✗ We booked a room for 4 pax. The room was a little tight for 4 pax. Wished it has a bit of space in the centre to pack luggages.

✓ The room was big compared to the usual apa rooms. And the shower and onsens were really nice! Besides that, an apa is an apa. Comfortable and pleasant as always
✗ The location is horrible. Extremely far away from everything. (40 minutes by foot to the closest train station). I think there was a sigh of a bus from the hotel to the city but couldn't find anything on it and no one answered me when I asked about it.

apology, but would not recommend
✓ Airconditioning - very warm, room is measuring 27-28 degree, aircon set to cool of 20 deg max blast,coolest we got is 26.5. Hotel staffs were nice and offer a switch and sent a technician (person says nothing is wrong) Manage to switch room but still the same, but since no other hotels avail we just bear with it. The pillow smell musty, we have to cover it with a blanket and sleep otherwise the odor really bothers and room as well, feels like it is not well ventilated at all.... Toilet is simply lit with a single lightbulb.
