✓ The location is amazing. Its a ten minute walk down from the main Kaluk bazaar. It's quite a steep walk, so people with problems walking may prefer to stay elsewhere. It is possible to call a taxi to take you to and back from the main town. We woke up at 4:30am a couple of days and were able to get a view of Kanchenjunga (even in May) and a large part of the mountain range- awesome. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Loved the fact that it was less than an hours walk away from Rinchenpong and others treks. This is not a crowded place and is the perfect getaway if you want peace and quiet, amongst the beautiful Himalayas.

✗ The wifi was a bit iffy and we found out that our booking through booking.com was a lot more expensive than others who had booked directly.

✓ Bharat at the reception and Aastha in the Restaurant were awesome..they made the perfect meals and arranged transport.

✗ My room was too chilly which made it difficult to sleep and most plug points werent working. Communication with the reception is also difficult since the intercom or bells are non existent.

family suit was lavishly furnished and didn't use most of it as our stay was short. shall come back

✓ We liked the view from hotel rooms. Fruit laden trees in the premises were an awesome sight. Very nice and peaceful place to rejuvenate.

✗ food choices were very limited specially for vegetarians ... mostly potato was available. If green vegetables are avialable then it will be good.
