Great location, service and food at a fair price!

- Location is great, a 3 min walk to the mall of Emirates and 2 of my favorite restaurants. - The staff were always very friendly and responsive to my requests. They always offered plenty of water as I was often stuck in my room working long hours during this trip. On this trip, I traveled with heavy bags and the staff were very helpful in assisting with these. Overall, a good experience for the price. - The food in the Monarch restaurant was a bit pricy, but was great. I often wanted to personally thank the chef for the choices of chicken and fish dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. - Lighting in the room is usually an insignificant feature, but I was pleasantly surprised by the switchable soft backlighting designed as part of the decor. I often worked long hours and this lighting presented a good environment for work and enjoying movies when I got the chance. I liked the design of the building, with a hall balcony overlooking the lobby and giving the feeling of more open space. While being rectangular, the floor design provided an unexpected change to the boring simplistic arrangements often found in many hotels.

- The view facing the back of the building was not so great. But almost every hotel in the busy districts of Dubai suffers from this. - The pool was under maintenance so I didn't get to swim as I had hoped. I couldn't take advantage of the shuttle to other pools, since I was working. - Though I liked the open floor design, it allowed the loud music from the ground floor bar to circulate throughout the lower floors of the building. This was not a big problem, but sometimes disturbed me as I was on the 2nd floor. - On 1 occasion, the staff did not properly note that I paid for my meal since I did not include meals with my stay.

Good value of money, nice staff, neat & clean hotel, Breakfast was good. I will especially appreciate housekeeping staff. Mr.Sumen is a nice and gentle person. He works very well

The only thing which I don't like is the location. This beautiful and fantastic hotel is away from the metro station. In this hot weather one can't walk that much to metro station.

1. Ordered a medium steak and orange juice, got a well done steak and pineapple juice (but they did offer a refund) 2. Bathroom had a leak (bidet pipe) that the engineer came to fix (after calling twice). He fixed the leak but didn't clean up the water puddle. 3. Quite a high step between the bathroom and the bathtub, that I imagine older and younger people would struggle with. 4. Pool was closed (under renovation) which guests won't find out until they check-in

We do not have shuttle to go in Mall of the Emirates. Hence, the Mall is very near in our hotel. Approximately, 2 - 5 minutes of walking to go there.

We have a free shuttle bus going to Jumeirah Beach at 10:00 AM and going back to the hotel at 15:00. You can take taxi which is 15mins going there for 30-40 AED.
