✓ Inexpensive. Value for money. Lovely staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Central location near ski lift. Ive stayed here before and I would stay here again.

✗ Food was hit or miss. Buffet breakfast same every day tho always choice of fruit , continental or cooked. Dinner buffet very average though plenty choice. You get what you pay for and having stayed in several Soldeu hotels, including the Piolets and Himalaya, this was average.

Hotel Maistre Ski Trip stay

✓ Good value hotel close to the main lift and 50 metres from the AndBus stop. Standard Room was clean and comfortable, great for one, maybe a little small for two. Wardrobe quite small but adequate for one. Lots of hot water. Large bathroom with bath/shower. Buffet food was fine with a good choice of meats, seafood (seabass etc) and vegetarian options. Breakfast likewise. Staff friendly. Bar very reasonable and the G&Ts are renown. Can't comment on the boot room as I hired a locker up the mountain. I would book again.

✗ Soundproofing of rooms is the only major issue. OK if your neighbours are quiet, as mine were. I was on the first floor and could sometimes hear movement from the floor below in the early morning. Otherwise very quiet.

Great value, friendly staff, clean

✓ Breakfast was included in my package - choice of omelette OR bacon/eggs. Fresh bread and olive oil. Coffee, milk, juices, tea, pastries, fruit, meats, cheese, cereal. Left every morning very full! Bathroom was clean and tidy. Beds were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and got me a portable heater when I was feeling a bit cold. Located within steps from the Soldeu L4 bus stop which was very convenient.

✓ Excellent stay, wish it could be longer! Quite a large room, I loved the fact that there was a balcony, the bathroom quite large, has everything one needs, including hair dryer, everything very clean and tidy. Very kind staff, make you feel at home. Breakfast is gorgeous, with bacon and eggs, and a very good selection of buffet. Also very cozy large terrace with a view on mountains. WiFi excellent.
