Need to fix doors and the appearance of outside like the stairs and a good elevator by lobby.

✗ The door to room 202 was not good at all. Fighting the door trying to get in was horrible. The staff was nice but all they said is you have to jiggle it a bit. We’ll, it was more than a bit and a pain in the butt.

✓ The staff is awesome; especially Holly is so fun and helpful. Really appreciate the heart-felt, positive energy she brings to the place. The hotel is almost 30 years old, and they are working on updates the best they can. We initially had a room without a freezer unit upon check-in, and they immediately moved us to a much nicer room upstairs with a freezer. Such a great customer experience! Thank you again!

Great location for a bay & beach vacation
✓ The staff is exceptionally friendly, especially Holly! It's an older motel with near proximity to all the North Padre and Mustang Island beaches. Bay view from the rooms. We love it.
✗ Prices are in general a bit too high for an older motel like this, but the location is great and the staff is fantastic, so we keep coming back.
