Great value, great location , friendly staff .

✓ Karla at the restaurant was great . very attentive and a happy person/ server . Great breakfast . Great way to start the day .

✗ the key to the room didnt work right away. Had to talk to housekeeping to open my room. issue was corrected fairly quickly .

✓ This is the third or fourth time in a matter of a few months and the guys at the front desk ( Luis Diego and Diego) were very helpful. I was upgraded as I requested . Love the location of the hotel .

✗ always have problems with the elevator that doesnt stop on the lobby level . Had to trick it go down while i take the other .. it needs to be fixed as its a nuisance

✗ Street vendors yelling and playing music AAALLLLLL DAY long from 8am - 5pm which you can hear even with the windows closed

✓ I have been staying in Hotel Balmoral since the 1980’s, and since have stayed on several occasions since over the years. It’s in a great location downtown San Jose and the staff are welcoming and friendly.

✗ All the rooms need upgrading for these prices.

✗ one elevator doesnt stop in the reception level and i walk with a cane . at one point the said elevator would be the only one available i had to drag my luggage from one floor to another . Very difficult and unacceptable - needs more orientation to handicap needs .

Everything was comfortable and service was great, just the elevator floor buttons….

Great treatment and central location

✓ Great staff and treatment, nicely furbished, very central, parking, patio downstairs with a restaurant and bar, overall a nice stay to wrap up our trip. Thete was some confusion over ordering an airport taxi but it got sorted in the end.

✗ All good really, located on busy main street if that’s not your thing maybe, but indoors was really quiet. I for one appreciated being within a short walk of everything.
