✓ The pool and the rooms

✗ They didn’t have pool towels when we went to the pool.

Nice resort and a beautiful hotel

✓ The hotel was beautiful. There are painted ceilings on the first floor. The lobby was stunning. Pool area was exceptionally nice, large and accommodating. Free parking and good wifi strength.

✗ The restaurant was not as good as I had hoped.

Enjoyable! As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and cozy.

✓ Great location and lovely staff, especially the two ladies at the front desk. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

✗ It was older and a little dark. Old school resort but I'm sure that's a part of the charm.

We were happy. It's prettier than in looks in the pictures. Courteous staff. Better than I expected!

✓ The rooms were quiet. Great water pressure in shower. The public areas were beautiful, especially the pool. The breakfast was great. The gym was, according to my husband, "The best I've seen in Costa Rica!" We were also grateful for their dog-friendly policies!! <3

✗ The rooms need help. Mattress was just okay. The toilet handle had to be pulled up or it wouldn't stop running. I found this ironic because they had signs asking us to turn off the water while brushing teeth to conserve water. No wifi in rooms.

Beautiful resort with excellent staff!

✓ Pool area beautiful! Great bird watching in morning and late afternoon. Scarlet and green macaws, toucan’s, plus lots of other birds. Restaurant/bar area with great staff and great food. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful, hardworking. Housekeeping was exceptional!

✗ Air conditioner in my room was super noisy, but I was still able to sleep.
