Comfiest dorm bed ever, friendly staff, great location

✓ Despite being on top of a bar, the hostel is quiet, the other guests were very respectful and I slept exceptionally well in the huge, wonderfully cosy bed. The curtains of the sleeping nook provided privacy, the locker ample storage. I’ll be back!

Comfortable, clean and affordable

✓ Secure cupboard for luggage, clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom was always clean. I found the location close to the tram and bus stations and within walking distance of the Cathedral. Staff were friendly and I felt safe even though I traveled alone. I would definitely recommend the hostel.

Best hostel in Cologne

✓ Everything! If you’re backpacking in Köln, better not choose another hostel. This hostel is located in a very good location. The beds are super comfortable and large and there are even privacy curtains! The staff is pretty sweet especially Margarita and Lukas.

✗ Some of the German staff didn’t understand my queries and couldn’t really tell much about what to do or even about the walking tours.

Great setup, but minor issues.

✓ Design of room having shared beds with curtain and external lights was great. Key based access to building, lift and room. Automatic light systems in shower room and toilets.

✗ Power socket and switch for reading light was too adjacent. While using international converter, it was not possible to turn on reading light. Coffee machine wasnt working early or late hours.
