disappointed , expect much higher standards for a Hilton hotel

✗ the rooms are dated including the bathrooms the hotel needs to desperately carry out some refurbishments the breakfast in the executive lounge was poor quality and little choice for the brand name Hilton it was disappointing, I would not recommend or be booking again

Exceptional. A standard for what all 5* hotels should be like.

✓ Exceptional. Not too close to the city, so if you like green scenery, forests etc. then this is the perfect spot. I also liked that I could park my car right in front of the hotel. Very nice and friendly staff, and a hotel I stayed at twice while traveling to Bucharest.

✗ In my first stay, WiFi kept going down, but in my second stay it was all good. At the same time, it would have been very nice to have the sauna open at least around 10am, so people can go there in the morning as well (it opens at 12:30, so after checkout unfortunately). No doorman. No parking valet. None of these mattered to me anyway.

great hotel next to forest!

✓ nice hotel, spacious room, clean, great location next to zoo and Astra museum, walking distance to visit them surrounded by Dumbrava forest.

✓ The hotel was modern and comfortable, with a good breakfast. The facilities seemed good, with a well equipped spa and gym in the basement. The hotel staff were capable and friendly.

✗ It was a little disappointing that the bar was closed for refurbishment, the hotel is on the main road into Brasov, so a room on the front can be a little noisy. But these are minor points.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a great spa experience.

✓ The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We arrived late in the day but had no problems with the check-in. The rooms are a good size and each room has everything and anything you'd need for your vacation: a comfortable king-size bed, two very comfortable armchairs, a desk setup with a swivel chair, etc. The decor might not be to everyone's taste but there are plenty of pictures to get you ready for what you're getting. The spa is spectacular. There's a large swimming pool (suitable for kids as well, due to one end being more shallow), a jacuzzi, 4 different spas (Finnish, aromatherapy, infrared, steam), 2 relaxation rooms, a tea area, and several private massage rooms. I have mixed feelings (but positive) about the location because it's quite far from the city center (about a 10-15 minute drive) but it's very close to the Zoo and Astra Outdoors Museum. Overall I think it's still a great location, especially if you're looking for fresh air, quietness, and relaxation.

✗ About the rooms: We had some technical issues with our room and the response was that if it breaks completely, we're entitled to a room change. Although that's a great offer, it seems that the maintenance person already knew about the issue and it hadn't been fixed for a while. I would prefer that a hotel such as Hilton wouldn't offer rooms where they know there are issues, in the first place. About the spa: The jacuzzi felt a little underwhelming because there are only a few water jets and their power is quite low. The slippers offered by the hotel are a health hazard as the spa floor is very slippery when wet. I'd recommend guests use their own slippers (preferably a pair that does well on slippery surfaces).
