✓ The best thing in the hotel is the receptionist. Very lovely young lady who goes beyond her duty and makes sure that you get all you need and feel good. Gives you tips on where to go eat and drink in the town and gives you hints about parking places. I got a parking card to park for free. The breakfast was also very good, eggs, ham, salami, cheese, choices of bread, cake, juices and tea. The yard at the back is pleasant for breakfast. The location is also great, just at the opposite side of the square from the Telc castle, all is within walking distance.
✗ My room was a bit plain, old fashioned furniture and bathroom. But clean. I think the mattress could be also better but for 2 nights it was ok. I think the owner could invest a little bit in the furnishing. I saw that some rooms have the furniture overpainted.

✓ Hotel is right on the beautiful town square. My room was lovely (and clean and comfortable) with a fab view of the square Breakfast was good
✗ I thought I was booking a hotel so assumed there would always be someone at reception. However on arrival the cafe owner had to call someone to get me access to the hotel and each time I came or went I had to use keys to enter and exit. That being said, it wasn’t a problem, just unexpected so preparing other visitors
