Very unique hostel with fabulous decorations. I loved the big book of recommendations of other hostels and things to do in NZ. Lovely staff with lots of suggestions. Handy sockets and lights beside beds. Fabulous sunset down at the beach recommended by the staff.

Nothing.

Great hostel, especially for an alone female traveller

Great staff! They can come and pick you up from the train/bus station without extra cost ( I never stayed in a hostel that included that) and explained to you all the local places you can visit. The rooms are spacious and comfy, as well as the common aereas and everything is very clean. When you are in the hostel you already feel like you are travelling the world with their decoration.

I loved everything about it and would recommended to everyone.

Really loved the hostel - the decor especially. I thought the little things like the suggestion books where people could make comments on their experiences of other hostels and activities in the south island is a fantastic touch. I can tell a lot of thought and love goes into the place

Great value for money, a hidden gem for any backpacker or tourist

Super cosy and amazing decor, this place is clearly run by people who love to travel and know what fellow travellers/backpackers/tourists need. Very close to Monteith's brewery, and a fantastic kitchen.

Nothing, a lovely hostel
