Highly Recommend

✓ Exceptional view over Valparaiso from the roof terrace. The room was large and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast great. Eggs, meats, toast, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, cake, coffee. The hotel is very well located well within walking distance to most sights. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. I loved that the hotel is in one of the traditional Valparaiso buildings. It's beautifully decorated in the local style and art but with attention to comfort and convenience. Wifi was fast and available throughout the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

✗ My one gripe is no reflection on the hotel. It is difficult to get to Valparaiso from Santiago. You can either go by a cheap option - public bus or by very expensive taxi ie AUS$220 each way. It would be great to have a more middle ground option like a hotel shuttle bus to and from Santiago to various hotels in the area. I didn't have any dislikes at all for this hotel. It was lovely.
