Riad Zen House

Peaceful, secure, friendly and professional staff, relaxing atmosphere.

✓ Very peaceful spot away from super busy areas, only 10 minutes walk to main Medina areas though. Easy walk from Medina gates (where driver drops you) to hotel, and if arriving at night (which I did) someone from the hotel came and met me from the driver, which was very helpful. Nice common areas of library, courtyard, rooftop etc.

✗ The breakfast was suffice but mostly bread and cake. There are minimal grocery stores or places to buy fresh food nearby, but if you plan on eating at restaurants every meal than I guess it's ok. No kettle or fridge in room.

Very nice Riad, good price quality

✓ Nice and beautiful Riad, nice staff. Slept very well, very cosy interior. Breakfast is alright

✗ There is no 24/7 reception, so when you come back to the Riad, you have to ring a bell. The bell is audible in the whole riad, also early morning or in the middle of the night. Location is okay, but not very close to the center (20-25 minutes)

Exceptional

✓ It was a beautiful stay not only because of the great location, and comfortable and homey room and facilities, but mostly of the great staff in the Riad, Taja, and the 2 Mustaffas, they were very kind, genuine and helped us a lot in many ways. It was a superb stay because of the great people. We loved the breakfast, the moroccan tea and the rooftop for stargazing at night! Awesome Riad!

Great place with an amazing staff! Just a bit far from the Medina and strange área to walk at night.

✗ The location at night may feel a bit dangerous. Also takes around 25min to get to the Medina.

✓ Riad Zen House is beautiful and very clean! the service was exceptional, everyone was very nice! breakfast was traditional and very tasty! There was always someone there from the staff so I felt safe :)

✗ Pool was TINY, can't swim in. 20 minute walk from main square and so on. Breakfast was very sweet, you wont be full.

✗ The man at the reception could only speak arabic, it was really really hard to communicate with him and receive his support. People working in a hotel should at least speak english and/or french. About the position,it was quite near the center (20 minutes walking from the central square) but the neighborhood was quite scary and dark in the night (especially for 3 girls like us) and the hotel is not giving a key for the hotel (just for the room) so we always had to ring the bell and wait for someone to open us.
