"Clean apartment but a let down in other ways
✓ The apartment was clean and in a good location
✗ The kitchen only had one glass??? The hallway light wasn’t working, there was no remote control for the TV so we couldn’t use it. When I told the people in charge, their response was “the last guests have taken it but don’t worry, we’ve ordered another one” - that didn’t help me!!! They blamed the cleaner for not checking the bulb in the hallway. Although the apartment Itself was clean, the apartment block was disgusting and smelt of urine and cigarettes. I’ve never seen such a filthy carpet as the one in that block.

✗ The fact there is burn marks on the unit & chips in the wood floor door for balcony doesn’t lock also the cooker hob doesn’t work and the fact I’ve had to pay £250 deposit and £138.50 for stay and the standard of the property is very poor. Lift doesn’t work so had to go up four flights of stairs and we had someone with us that struggles with walking Doesn’t state that there’s a £250 deposit on booking.com which it should. Also having to walk a mile to fetch the key for the property
"Not a safe place to stay and read the true reviews
✓ I did not like anything about this apartment
✗ To start with the patio door would not lock so their was no security in the property and when we informed the company this was just ignored, we did not feel safe staying there.
The need to face time the company letting this property, the house rules saying that you would be fined for a whole list of things. The lack of towels even though we had booked for 4 people we still only got 2 and no assistance. The lift didn't work and the entrance to the block was filthy and smelt of drugs.
The beds were so uncomfortable and had well past their best, and the duvet and pillows were very poor quality.
the sofa was like a brick.
I didn't like the lack of customer care when these points were brought up, and now looking at previous reviews they had all been highlighted to the company, but they have chosen to do nothing about it

✗ I was told there was a parking permit in the apartment then told they didn't have one and as we were in a work van we couldn't fit in any of the car parks in the area(height restriction)we arrived in the apartment and it was very dirty to start with and it smelt fishy,we stayed for 3 nights and kept the place pretty tidy I thought,but now asking for my deposit back they want to take £45 for extra cleaning for sweeping the floor lol and not even supplying a brush so we can what a joke come on booking.com sort this out!!!!,I would advise anyone booking with Five ways serviced apartment to stear clear or make sure you bring your own cleaning kit with you because they will expect you to leave the apartment cleaner than what it was when you arrived, unhappy customer
