Family-owned hotel with great service!
✓ Wonderful family-owned hotel that was very clean and 5 min walk to town with a communal kitchen, patio with view and free simple breakfast! Jeaustin was very welcoming and took his time to make recommendations and support me in booking reservations. Also appreciated their eco-consciousness. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved it, highly recommend, good location, would stay again!
✓ THe included breakfast was good, they had tea always available, popcorn in the afternoon, able to store our luggage, lounge and outside area to hang out in. We sadly only stayed one night but loved it. Within 30 second walk was a very good restaurant as well as a minimarket. Good TV, nice and clean and the front desk people arranged tours for us.
✗ more towels please! Rainy season, things never dry!

✓ Front desk was SO helpful and friendly!! He gave us so many wonderful recommendations and we had the most delicious dinner at the soda next door. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Would stay here again!
✗ The room was a little small once we had both of our big suitcases in there, but other than that the room was really nice!

Amazing place, cozy, great view, great location.
✓ Breakfast is fantastic especially options for kids. There are 5 plate options all with fruit and as well cereal, hot chocolate etc for kids. Location is great near all the essentials. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
✗ Room just below breakfast space is loud in the morning starting 5am, room 27.

If you are looking for a restaurants, one of our favorites is Tico Rico, 5 min walk from our place. We also like Bar amigos, and El Parrillero, right next to our property.

The double standard is located in our historical building and the Double standard superior is located in our newer building.

Is not necessary to get a 4x4 since we are in the dry season. If you can get a high car is better, just in case for the potholes, but the roads are all paved so, no worries 😉

Only 2 of our rooms do have air conditioning, the double standard sup but we can not guarraty it.Monteverde, being a region that is located in the Cloud Forest, has a cooler climate compared to the rest of the country.
