✓ The location, because I was leaving early the next day from the San Jose 7-10 bus station.

✗ location a bit iffy but super market right next to it and very very close to the bus terminal

Fine for stopover

✓ Nice big, bright room. Clean. Nice breakfast.

✗ The street noise and anyone walking passed my room could be heard so loudly

Great hotel & plus staff, you can’t beat the price.

✓ it’s a nice modern property located a short walk from downtown San Jose. The hotel does provide an optional breakfast in the cafe located on the ground floor, plus breakfast can be bundled into a room deal.

✗ Nothing, it’s great plus I would stay here again.

Good place to spend a night or two

✗ The streets around didn't seem too friendly but I guess that's San Jose for you, you can't expect anything too good from this city in general.

Cool, cheap, and comfortable.

✓ Definitely worth it for a short trip. the room was small but sufficient, private bathroom was great, a/c was kickin!

✗ No elevator. Not a big deal for me, but if you have a lot of luggage or are disabled, this will be a hinderance unless you’re placed on the ground floor.

Serviceable, but not the best area

✓ Reasonable amount of money for a clean room with private bathroom Bonus - hot water - not the norm in CR. (In the US, I would rate this Hotel above a Motel 6 and below a Holiday Inn). Breakfast was modest, but filling. The TV sometimes worked, wifi worked fine. Third floor is the less expensive option (no elevator) - I was told that the rooms had AC. Which mine did, though I was told at check-in that in this room it didn't work, but the outside air would be cool. The overhead fan was welcome. They did have currency exchange, arrange tours, and would hold your luggage for a day if you needed it. Staff seem rather grumpy but maybe I just caught them on a collective bad day.

✗ Opening the door meant moving the bed, then moving it back to get to the bathroom. TV only worked intermittently.
