Being located next to Stingray City and able to get a discount on their tours. The facility of a shared washing machine. The peace and quiet of the location.

The room details said that I would have a sea view when I did not. The kitchen sink was tiny. The TV did not offer live channels.

The garden and the outside sitting areas were peaceful and pretty. The manager and staff were very helpful and kind. The second room I had was an apartment and it was perfect. Even had a balcony overlooking the bay.

The first room I was in had a horrid odor. When I mentioned it to the owner he moved me to the beautiful suite and dealt with the odor. He said it was coming from the refrigerator. It was room 5. Hopefully it is now fixed. A car rental is essential if staying in this location.

Located next to Stingray City, they have a significant guest discount for Stingray experience, if you have a car the location is grate as a base to explore the island.

Is a modest, basic accommodation but considering the prices on this island is good value for money.

nice quiet area was upgraded to a bigger flat without being charged any extra . was basic in furniture but the flat was very clean

had issues with water and there pump . ideally if you stay here rent a car the plus of it being quiet means you need a car to get around , to be honest I would advise this wherever you stay thanks to the layout of the island

Beautiful location surrounded by birds and even hummingbirds. Saw stingrays by the shore and short walk to a small supermarket if anything was forgotten. Bernadette and Chippy were great hosts and every question was answered promptly. Bernadette organised the taxi for our group of 6. Four of us stayed upstairs and our other 2 friends were below. We met on the veranda for our evening meal and watched the sun setting. Some of us even got up for the sunrise! It's just beautiful here.

Nothing we didn't like. I've tried to add photos only when I do I lose my review. We took amazing photos and 3rd time writing this review so sadly no photos can be added

Location incredible- right next to the ocean and Stingray city- with a $15 discount for an excursion! The lift to/from the airport was brilliant and saved me a lot of time and money taking a taxi- especially with the large amount of luggage that I had!

There was no food option. However, there is a cafe nearby within 2 minutes walking distance.

We are glad you were able to patronage the other food options in the village. Regarding cleaning, we normally refresh our units after the 3rd day of stay or unless otherwise requested by our guests. Had no problem providing own breakfast because the facility consisted of adequate appliances, cookware and cutlery to enable me to make my meals. Also, supermarkets are within a five minute drive. Location to the sea gave me options to swim or sail or just to take leisurely walks

No complaints. My stay was a peaceful getaway and will consider spending a longer time for my next visit. The only complaint is that I should have spent the whole weekend instead of one day.

Thanks for your interest in Ellen Bay Cottages. We do have free wifi in the rooms. There is no restaurant on property. We are a self catering facility with fully equipped kitchens/kitchenettes for you to prepare your own meals. Hope this helps.

Hello. There is a supermarket in the village within walking distance. Also, you can get to St. John's and around the island by bus. There are established routes, and one on the southern coast would allow you to hop off right on to a beach front.
