Relaxed and friendly stay at the Hanmer Springs Hotel

✓ The check-in was very straightforward, and the receptionist was very warm and friendly. We really did feel welcomed. We all loved the old world ambiance at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable with tea and coffee facilities and a small refrigerator in the rooms for our cold drinks and snacks. The beds were very comfy, and the water pressure was excellent in the showers. The complimentary continental breakfast was more than adequate, and the dining room overlooked a blossom filled garden. I would certainly stay here again as the hotel is conveniently located in the middle of town and a 2 minute walk from the hot pools with free parking.

✓ So close to everything, the units have great potential, the restaurant looked great, wish I could have stayed the night. But my mum passed away

✗ Very dated, the lights are not a good colour they need to be warm white or something with high Colour rendering. Needs a lighting upgrade. Just wasn’t an inviting colour. Change the bulbs in the lamps to a warm colour would be great. The chairs are rock hard and need cushion’s.
