Nothing short of sensational and a highlight of our Italy holiday.

An amazing property that is absolutely delightful. A fabulously restored castle in a quiet location. We loved it!

Nothing not to like about this property.

A hidden gem.

CdR is a dream made true by the Aliani family. With luck you spend time in this lovingly restored Castello all by yourself. Be a prince for a night and enjoy it!

Everything is just perfect

The view is absolutely amazing. Located on the top of the hill and you have a panoramic view of the fields and hills. It’s also very quiet - Perhaps a bit hard to find but there’s no disturbance(such as car noises) at all. Vincent and his family are extremely welcoming and warm as well. They’re helpful in all aspects, and Vincent even drove me to the airport knowing that I’m traveling alone and it’s hard to call a taxi in this area. Besides, they also produce their own wines, olive oils and grains. I had a wine tasting of one doc white wine, the fruity and mineral taste is really unique. They also used the local Umbria grapes. The castle itself is also amazing. It’s only half refurbished, the other half is not yet refurbished and looks rather like an archaeological site, which is a quite interesting experience since you can see the original castle. Anyway it’s a perfect stay, and had a lovely chat with the owner.

Nothing. But it’s better if you have your own car to drive you around in terms of tourist destinations and food.
