Beautiful stay in central Kampot!
✓ The attention to detail (decor/aesthetic) in this hotel is amazing. I wish I could have stayed more than one night. The pool, restaurant, garden, balcony, room, all were wonderful. The food was really tasty, too. Don’t skip the breakfast! And the hotel kitties are sweet and friendly.

Fabulous
✓ Great place to stay in Kampot. Excellent management and staff. The building has a lot of atmosphere, including the internal garden and swimming pool. Breakfast choices were great and filling. Was given a room upgrade as mid-week hotel wasn't full.
✗ Small issue just for me with back issues. Wide wooden frame around bed made it difficult to get in and out easily.

The perfect stay!
✓ My friend and I stayed at Hotel Old Cinema for 2 nights and we've had such a good time. The building itself is spectacular, previously the building was used as a theatre and cinema and while it is a hotel now there's still a lot of cool architectural features that have been kept in tact. The moment you walk in, the hotel has a very good feeling/atmosphere. The staff is very kind and helpful and provide you with useful tips on what to do in and around Kampot. The interior of the room is amazing, you can really feel the art-deco theme - which matches the vibe of the building perfectly. The bed was really comfortable, the AC was very clean (which can be hard to find in Cambodia sometimes), the bathroom felt very luxurious and had all the amenities you're looking for. We really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the lush garden downstairs with the most beautiful tropical plants. Beside the room, we also really enjoyed the restaurant and swimming pool area, surrounded by plants and with some of the best service I experienced in Cambodia. The food we had was of really good quality and presented nicely. We had a great afternoon hanging around the pool and enjoyed the happy hour gin & tonics (don't forget to try these!). I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Old Cinema and I can't wait to stay again!
