What can I say, the hosts are warm and welcoming. The breakfast is hearty and you will certainly have the chance to taste good wines. Only one word to describe this place: hospitality. I recommend this place.

The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. The communal area was excellent and very relaxing. The location was good and most amenities were nearby. A nice place to spend a few days. It was particularly special experiencing the wine and vodka tradition that family knows so well.. The breakfast and dinners were excellent with a wide selection of Armenian foods. The best part about the stay was the family. They were absolutely wonderful and kind. Spending time with people like this is always refreshing.

The highlight of the stay is the hospitality, the great Armenian food Neil cooks & the homemade wine. On the first floor of the house there is a beautiful renovated winery. The second floor is where the family and guests live. It was great to get to know Armenia through the eyes of the Yeganyan family.

What an incredible place and find in Ashtarak. I only had the chance to stay here for a brief stay but I am so blown away at my experience there that I am already planning a return trip in May with a friend! The property is clean, spacious, and cozy. I was greeted by the friendly Yeganyan family that owns the guest house and wine yard and immediately assisted to put my things away before enjoying my day. I was treated more like family than a guest and this is part of what makes me love Armenia so much! The guesthouse has something for everyone - there are quiet places on the terrace to relax and read a book as well as a lovely cellar to eat and learn about the homemade wine that is made right in-house. The food was especially tasty and the breakfast was fresh and fueled me up for an exciting day of exploring Ashtarak. I really can't recommend this place enough! It was Armenian hospitality and then some! :)

I booked this guesthouse on the strength of what had been reviewed but I was a bit disappointed with what I found.People should be realistic whilst reviewing a facility,otherwise travellers easily mislead when choosing a place that suits their needs and budget.Upon arrival i was told that I had been upgraded to a "better room". Considering that i had heavy luggage on me and didn't want to keep packing and unpacking,i asked whether this nice gesture extends to the upcoming nights I'm staying or is it only for 1 night. I was told that I'm welcome to stay there my entire stay.I wasn't told the room I initially booked was already occupied by another guest,instead i was told that they upgraded me as favour.When that guest departed ,I was asked to move to the other room because "this room is expensive".When I reminded them that they were the ones who offered it and that I'm okay with checking out immediately if there's a new booking for this room,the daughter was impertinent towards me and unprofessional.

The breakfast was very basic and nothing like mentioned in reviews,repetitive, consisted of cheese, hard boiled eggs,bad quality sussage and weird jam felt like a soluble liquid decorated with uneatable green plants served cold every morning with old bread and no coffee or Tea.But that's excusable.What was inexcusable is the hosts demeanour during my stay.I was made to feel like an intruder,especially when i wanted to use the kitchen which one bounds to do;since there aren't any restaurants available nearby and no coffe/Tea or kettle is provided in the room,it didn't feel at all comfortable to prepare anything for lunch or dinner. No cleaning at all was carried out during my 8 nights stay, although I had been outside for long periods, during which they can clean but not even my bedsheets were changed.On the 5th night I asked to have my bedsheets changed only to be confronted by frowning irritated attitude.The host came rather uprubtly changed them and I had to clean&empty the bin myself.
