Perfect location to visit Bologna

A great week in a traditional hotel with nice food, especially the cake!
✓ Warm, personable, smiling, helpful staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They were friendly with excellent communication skills. They gave me another room as mine was noisy at night.
✗ No English TV, broken curtain pulleys, noisy in certain rooms above a cinema.

✓ Location was perfect in the heart of the historical city center of Bologna, 10 minutes walking distance from all major attractions. The morning reception staff was very friendly, the atmosphere of the palazzo that the hotel itself is and the deco was quite nice.
✗ No bidet, which is rare for an Italian hotel, though probably not possible in such a historical palazzo

Perfect city location. The hotel did “what it said on the label”
✓ Location excellent in the heart of Bologna. Breakfast was average but did the job. Staff sensible and helpful.
✗ Room was old fashioned and with a couple of Minor issues (grubby endow blind and rather erratic plumbing) Decor throughout was passé.

Good spot in the historical centre to sleep.
✓ An impressive building from the outside and the location is so central and easy to get to from the station/ airport walking or by public transport. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Great wifi.The room was a bit rickety, and you could hear other guests talking or other noises in the building but clean and had rollershutters.
✗ A little deflating that the room and breakfast/ restaurant area really didn't have any of the historic ambience of the outside/ location of the building. Breakfast was o.k. but it could be a bit more quality. Apart from the lobby, it's probably not a place that is inviting to spend time in.

✗ I didn’t like that there was no air conditioning (the room was warm) and that because the facility is located near a movie theatre during the evening the sound coming from it was very audible in my room.

The main entrance of the hotel doesn't have the wheelchair access, anyway you can enter trough the garage and reach the elevator to go to your room.
