✓ I just loved this house. To stay in a house from 1791 was just so cool. I loved the decor. The thoughtfulness of design and the experience was a delight. Valerie has exceptional taste. Just an absolute pleasure to stay here. Merci Valerie pour le surclassment. I really appreciated staying here. I will be back.

Delightful, the highlight of our little trip.
✓ Our host was extremely welcoming and the house and bedrooms were delightful. Breakfast was very high quality and copious. We were able to pop out to the garden after breakfast to finish our coffee. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms which were spotless and beautifully furnished. The location in the centre of town was perfect for visiting the town and there were restaurants nearby to eat. Parking was in high demand in the small streets of the town centre, but we managed without a problem. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Never before have stayed in a Moyen Age home dated 230 years old !
✓ An ancient home built in 1791, very well kept, with beautiful taste by the owner sweet Valérie … Valérie very kind and most respectable elegant lady who treated us so well ! During breakfast which was serve by the beautiful lady we exchanged info about the beautiful town of Bazas, France 🇫🇷 ... Le Clos de la Cathedrale only steps away from the The Cathedral dedicated to Saint-Jean-Baptiste, the cathedral started built in 1233 , the side of the Cathedral can be seen from our window. The sunrise from our window was spectacular ! Petite Déjeneur was very good and enjoyed it very much served by Valérie itself …. Great place to stay while in Bazas . Next day we continue our journey from Bazas to Sauternes. If we ever go back to Bazas, we will stay at La Clos de la Cathedrale again ... Thanks Valérie for making our stay so pleasent !
