Hotel Tarigua Ocaña

Friendly team and customer service, great location,

✓ The team were friendly and welcoming from the moment I contacted them with my query. The second day, they prepared a full and tasty takeaway breakfast for me as I had to catch a bus. It is a great location, just round the corner from the colectivos for Playa de Belen and by the plaza/parque where there are restaurants. I heard this is one of the best hotels in town, it would be a 8 for me. But overall it was a 7 as unfortunately I had no rest, no good sleep. If you are a heavy sleeper, you will be okay.

✗ Noisy inside the hotel. It was not full so I asked if I could have a room away from other guests. They said yes, but I realised they out me next to a guest who returned around 1am slamming the door several times, it seemed they had been drinking. Guests can be noisy, turning on TV, chatting at 6am, 11pm and the sound insulation of the hotel is not the best, it echoes across the floors. The automatic sensor lights that switch on may wake you up if you face the window. This is because the blinds in the window do not block out the light fully. They also do an room inventory check when you check in the room which you sign. So I checked the list properly and 2 items were missing - so best you check as well or you will be charged when you check out.
