The location is excellent, right in the historic Nelson’s dockyards and very close to lots of restaurants. The hotel itself is rustic and full of charm, and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and very comfortable.

The bathrooms were the only thing that could use an update.

Very comfortable room, historic building, excellent location for historic area.

I could have done with more options at breakfast, but the food was good. It would have been convenient if the restaurant was open in the evening.

Stunning location

Dinner was included in the price. DBB rate We stayed for 4 nights but on 2 evenings the restaurant wasn’t open. Ate there one, okay, didn’t bother the other night. Not aware of local beaches or anywhere to swim

The building, location and history

As above...so some of the electrics in the kitchen didnt work. During a rain squall there was a leak from the ceiling next to the dining table. Getting breakfast was tediously long and one of the older staff was exceptionally rude

Beautifully restored historic building and a very large and comfortable room with a nice view out over the Harbour. This was a really nice surprise given that I had booked a Studio room at the last minute until I could join our race boat for the Antigua Sailing week. Great value for money too!

The Reception staff were super helpful and very friendly at every point in my stay. The staff at breakfast were a little unhelpful. I had a continental breakfast included in my room rate but had invited a guest to join me for breakfast so we both decided to eat a la carte. The serving staff could not make an allowance for the fact that I had paid for an inclusive breakfast in terms of a reduction from the bill for both our breakfasts. Notwithstanding the above I will definitely be back!

Hi it says beachfront but does it have a beach? It looks waterfront to me.

There is a small beach on the property and yes, it is also on the waterfront. We have the best of both worlds.

I am happy to assist. The hotel has two Contemporary Studios, both overlooking the main road within the Dockyard. The view of the harbor can be seen from the kitchenette window of one of the rooms with the courtyard also as a backdrop.

Hello I have a few question do Personalized room decorations I want to do something different for hubby birthday are there any restaurants close by

We would be happy to assist you, should you have personalized decorations you wish to use. The hotel however does not provide decors outside the request for us to do so but will be at a cost. There are several close-by restaurants to choose from.

We are looking to book the Georgian Suite from 26th - 29th Jan can you please confirm that there is a sofa bed in the suite as mentioned in the description of room facilities on this Booking.com site. Many thanks and we hope to see you then!

Two out of four of the Georgian suites carry sofabeds and might also be a possibility of them not being available at the time of booking.
