✓ The breakfast was excellent. Staff were very kind. Helpful figuring out excursions and also negotiating taxi fees from the airport. The owner was also a lovely and very kind person. Excellent in cleanliness .

✗ There was no soap. Property does not accept pre payment on booking websites or by card, must be paid cash and on the island the atm has a withdrawal limit of $200 USD. I do believe I got an email about this after so booked through booking but did not see it in time to prepare. All in all, it would be much more convenient to be able to pay by card. Otherwise, would recommend!

Super nice stay at Santa María :)

✓ Generally speaking, we had a great time at Sakaroulé. The location is great, at 5/10 min walk from the center. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and there are terraces outdoors that we could have use. The best thing about the hotel is the vibe - the design, colours and decorations are charming and the personnel is super nice and helpful.

✗ If anything, there is no AC in the rooms, although there is a fan available which helps with the temperature at night.

Amazing

✓ The team is amazing. Everybody was so nice and helped us with everything! When we arrived they showed us a nice place to eat and danced with us to the traditional music. Just amazing!!!

A decent place to stay close to local restaurants

✓ the location is good, it is not on the beach, but just 10 min walk from it the lady in the reception is extremely helpful and nice close to good local restaurants

✗ the breakfast not so good, mostly bread and sugar, an egg would be nice

✓ Sara and Simone are great hosts. Warm welcome and all chill vibe. They simply make your stay comfy and relaxed. Thanks a lot!

✗ Not the most important things but I think they need a wifi extender for the rooms on the top. I’d also add the need for a comfortable chair for the balcony. Other than that everything was perfect.

The perfect place for relaxing away from the hustle of the tourist crowds. Authentic guest house.

✓ My first accommodation on a two week trip to Cape Verde. Too bad it's only for one night. The owners are very nice. Of course, it is not a hotel with many stars, but it has everything you need and I really liked it. In the evening in the bar you can meet different people from different places and that is good.
