✓ There was a fridge and microwave which reduced my expenses on food
✗ Staff did not take into account the needs of the customers. At least customers should be allowed to make their own choices of beds. The management can put in place a system that allows customers to select their own bed while at the same time seeing what is available in their room. Just like choosing seats for a flight
✗ If you choose to stay here, please remember to bring your own towel, shampoo, and body soap. You have the option to borrow a bath towel for an additional fee of $5.
✓ The place is close to the city center. If you're the type of person who likes to walk, this is a very nice place.
✗ Aircon - The location of the air conditioning is somewhat unusual as it can only cool one lower bunk bed. Additionally, the ceiling fan stops working every time we turn off the lights. Thus, there are nights when there is no cool air circulating in the room. Bed - I think the bed is not very clean. I experienced bedbug bites during my stay. Sink - The sink is located outside the washroom, possibly because the washroom is too small to fit it inside.
✓ Actually despite the bad comments it is an alright stay, no problem with staff, I had a problem with an other guest they resolved my issue quickly!
✗ There were no lockers, the bathroom sink was in the room, other room had toilet in shower, little dirty AC
✓ The location! Everything was at a walking distance, with easy access to transportation. Hence, very convenient. It is located in a lively street with bars and restaurants, yet, there isn’t much noise.
✗ The curtains had steel, so noisy, I think plastic will make less noise when people draw them in early morning.
✓ the location is great, it allowed me to walk almost everywhere and it was a very vibrant and busy street so I never felt insecure even at night.
✗ during my stay there were problems with the washrooms, sometimes they were clogged and it was a bit of a problem but staff always took care of it and were aware and always helping.
✓ Good location - easy to get around on the street cars. Felt secure and safe.
✗ Not much to it. No common area , just rooms with metal bunk beds . I really wanted a bottom bunk as I have a bad foot , I booked months ago and were not able to accommodate my request even though people were coming and going . The top bunk was incredibly hard to get up on, a couple stools would be helpful. Also the bathroom sink only had hot water so no place to fill up your water bottle at night .
✓ Great location and value for the price
✗ The fire alarm went off most nights due to the restaurant downstairs
