The staff was exceptionally kind and polite, happy to help with any question or query I had. There has always been someone at the reception to welcome guests. The owner Hambartsum is one of the friendliest people I've ever met. The location is great, pretty close to many bars and restaurants. The room was clean, everything was pretty new. If you like to sing in the shower, bathroom acoustics will be a nice surprise for you! :D

Not a flaw, just a note: it's rather a home-like hotel, so there was no phone in the room to contact reception, or toothpaste to provide the travelers with. The stairs steps are quite high, so if you have any conditions preventing you from climbing the stairs easily, I'd recommend asking for a lower level room. Also, if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs with you — the city center is quite lively even at night.

If i have to find something probably i would add phones to rooms for better connection with reception

Excellent location - close to shops, restaurants, republic square, quiet street, very spacious rooms and shower, comfortable bed, helpful front desk staff - especially Hamik. FYI no elevator, no hairdryer

The hotel is located in the center of Yerevan - 10 -15 minutes walk from any major attraction. Nice and clean rooms.

No elevator for the 3-rd floor. The street had repairs going on with some noise and unperfect pathways.

Great location, the street itself is quiet, however just couple of steps and you're in the heart of Yerevan - the main streets for pubs, coffee shops, restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, tidy and pleasent room.

My room was in the third floor and the wifi connection was quite poor. It was good at the base floor. I would advise for hotel to setup a wifi repeater.

Despite being located right in the center of Yerevan, the room I stayed in was very quiet and noise-proof from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff is well-commended for the warmth and amicable reception upon check-in -- and continued daily whenever I passed by them whether at the start of the day or upon retiring to my room. The room is very spacious and clean, including the comfort room. The wi-fi connection is also impeccable. I will definitely be coming back and will stay at A Hotel again. Additional advantages: The location of the hotel is superb! Just a 5-min walk to Republic Square and also a 5-min walk to North Avenue. Lots of restaurants around to choose from and eat in. Very near popular restaurants. Getting around the city to visit the Cascade, Armenian Genocide Museum, St. Gregory the Illuminator Church, and Mother Armenia can be easily reached by installing the Yandex app and booking taxis. Transportation around Yerevan is very affordable via Yandex! Additional information: Supermarket: There is a supermarket just on the left side (when facing the hotel) of the building complex where the hotel is located which is very convenient. Money exchange: Currency exchange is of the best competitive value in SAS Supermarket (google map search the nearest branch) or just a 10-min walk to Baldi shoe store (there is a currency exchange inside the store) located at the corner of Tumanyan and Abovyan streets (also pinned in google maps). Never exchange in the airport! SIM card: You can purchase a SIM card at the airport (i.e. Beeline now Team Telecom) right after exiting immigration and right after exiting customs. There are generally two kinds of data packages and they are very affordable. You may pay by credit card. Never ever exchange your USD or Euro at the airport! Once SIM is installed, you may download the Yandex app and book your taxi to the city center. Do not ever engage with taxi drivers outside the airport for they will rip you off.

Great location in the center. But quiet. Lots of space in the room.

A bit too dark and cold in the room. No elevator is not great for some guests as there are many stairs, but it's not an issue for me. No breakfast options, unfortunately.

The location of the hotel is excellent, very central and close to Republic Square as well as Freedom Square and important streets like the Northern Avenue and Mashtot street. The building is new/renovated, with spacious rooms and nice new bathrooms.

There is no elevator and the staircase to the third floor is pretty steep. I was assisted in taking up my bag (14 kgs) but would not have been able to do it by myself. Getting up by the end of the day was quite an exercise. The other disadvantage is that the hotel lacks a restaurant, although there are lots of restaurants and coffee bars in the vicinity.

The hotel is in a great location and with all confort. The workers are very helpful and can meet any need or request. I had the luck to meet David he helped me out about armenian culture, places to see and much more.
