Radisson Resort Paracas

Very poor value for money. In the middle of nowhere.

✗ Poor value for money. Very noisy guests in room below drinking, partying with loud music until 2am, despite complaints to reception at 12:45am. Pineapple juice dispenser at breakfast was warm/ambient temperature. Lukewarm items on breakfast buffet - e.g. sausages - that should have been hot. Disorganised and fairly impersonal staff. Weird clinical atmosphere to the entire place. Hotel absolutely in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by construction sites. Very expensive for what you get.

Pleasant

✓ The staff were friendly. The room was clean. The pool was nice. Dinner was good. Good beach access

✗ The location was slightly further out from the Paracas town centre therefore had to get a taxi to go to the town or to a different restaurant. The area was very secluded and isolated. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. The initial room given had a noise from the windows, initially when we mentioned this and they asked us to leave the balcony door open to reduce the noise which obviously wasn’t feasible at night. They eventually changed our room. Espressos are not included in the breakfast and only local coffee was, given the price we paid for the room, we felt this should be included

Great location and amazing staff

✓ Great staff. Very professional, welcoming and dedicated. Location is great and pool is amazing. A little oasis in Paracas.

✗ No minibar or snacks in the room, especially when room service is not 24/7.

✓ The staff was non-responsive when asking for requests. We were at the pool area, with 4 staff members in the bar, and no one came to ask us if we wanted a drink. I had to personally go to the bar to get them myself. Hence the pool area was empty. We had to call them twice to come and ask for second rounds. We also asked for a coffee and when it came it was cold. We politely told the server that this was cold. Her answer was well come to the bar and get it yourself... Because coming to you it gets cold. The service was terrible. The hotel itself is clean and up to standard, But Staff members need more training (Pool/Beach).
