Best accommodation for a round trip to Semuc Champey

✓ Location, quietness, kindness of staff, price, comfort, food. It has it all. Excellent accommodation for a one day trip to Semuc Champey. The bus only takes 2 hours and costs 3 USD.

✓ Described exactly as it is, a lovely secluded quiet location. I informed them prior to my trip that I am gluten free and they went out of their way to accommodate my diet needs. I was very happy

Fantastic option for a quiet and comfy night's sleep

✓ Wonderfully helpful owner was so easy to communicate with even before we booked. He went out of his way to ensure our stay went smoothly. I cannot stress how very welcoming this place was. When I asked about wifi for an online interview I had, they brought a router to our room to speed things up. Beds were very comfy with great mattresses and linen. Lovely, clean and spacious room with desk and chair. Also a sofa in the room. Beautifully quiet away from town and off the main road. Well maintained gardens with lots of orchids. There was a share outdoor covered patio area with water filter, couches, microwave.

✓ Cleverly designed so that you feel in the forest while you´re practically in someone´s (beautiful) back yard. The owner, Miguel, and his staff are passionate about making you feel at home. It is outside Cobán, on the road to Chamelco, but there are frequent shuttle-buses passing on the road. Very good value for money.

✗ Not all rooms have mosquito nets on the windows.
