Cozy, Quiet Stay near Assi Ghat

✓ When looking for accommodation in Varanasi, I scoured the reviews on Booking to make sure I found somewhere quiet, as I'm a light sleeper. I also looked for cleanliness and a comfortable bed. I ended up choosing the Azure Family Guesthouse over hotels, and it was a smart choice. It was clean, cozy, quiet, well located, and super affordable. The bed was comfortable and the water hot. The owners were very accommodating and will also make good for you if you choose to order in, which was useful one night it was raining.

✓ Sona is a great host, her guest house is very clean always, food is great - homemade real Indian food. Sona is even giving the cooking classes and that's for a reason ) Sona is also well connected to some very good your guides and generally knows and understands Varanasi very well because she is from Varanasi.

A home stay that actually feels like a welcoming home.

✓ The family made me feel at home. Sona was very helpful with suggestions for getting around, where to go and what to do, etc. She makes a great cup of masala chai and has a very nice food offering as well. the a/c unit in my room was very quiet which was really a treat! I very good value for the money. I would stay here again without hesitation.

✗ climbing stairs is in for me, but two to three flights up might be a bit much for some folks.

✓ Sona is absolutely amazing and very accommodating. Her food (for a very affordable price) is phenomenal, especially the cheese Omelette. The room was very clean and had a fair price. I had a great time here and would love to return to this guest house again.

✓ For asian people who strict about privacy and cleanness. This place is the best place I didn’t expected to found. Not too much noise and people on the street. Sona and her family are so friendly. Let everyone having their time. Taking care and giving advice from first till last day.

✗ Nothing much than a few mosquitoes at night and some unexpected electric shutdown for 5-10 minute per day. If anyone fine with that. It still be good place.
