Fabulous
✓ Fresh eggs fort breakfast, choice of cereals, fruit, toast, and we could have made plunger coffee had we not been heading into town for coffee. Perfect. LOVED setting and view of the mountains and the alpacas and pigs in the paddock next door.
✗ Liked everything. I think that staying in the separate cottage made it even better and would ask for the cottage in future.

Would love to go back as my stay was cut short by my ferry being cancelled, I arrived late at night.
✓ If you are fortunate enough to stay at Te Mahuru, go for as long as possible- you won't want to leave. The retreat is beautiful & the scenery is jaw dropping amazing. Jen & Paul have created a wonderful peaceful home away from home, the attention to detail is perfection. Great hosts & super gorgeous dog 🥰

✓ It was easy to reach, a beautiful, quiet location. The room was great. Didn't have time to use the hottub. That would have been lovely too.

Beautiful home with amazing views and spa pool was a bonus 😊

Hello. All of our rooms in the lodge are on the ground floor and all have ensuites. They are called Rooms 1 through 5. We also have a cottage but that has an upstairs. Thank you, Jen

Hello. That depends. the taxi only operates Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm. I know that is not helpful. :-(

Hello. If you are booked into the lodge I host a wonderful and healthy continental breakfast inc hot homemade bread. If you are at the cottage the continental food is already in the cottage inc fresh eggs from our chickens in the orchard.
