Great little spot

✓ Well situated in Braithwaite ideal for walks from the door or in the Lakes. Also a couple great pubs in the village

✗ Nothing really. Would stay again. This was my 2nd visit

I really loved the cottage and I would happily recommend the courtyard 'complex' to others.

✓ Super comfy bed, lovely layout with emphasis on good use of space.

✗ I would add blinds - like the Roman style in the bathroom but light colour to allow natural light in. Keep the dark red curtains too though. Two layers are more versatile, allow privacy without using artificial lighting and keep warmth in when it's chilly.

Excellent, truly perfect for what we needed.

✓ The whole cottage was lovely. Such a good location for fell walking and the accommodation was excellent. The whole set-up worked perfectly for us and we'll certainly be looking to come back when next in the area. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

✗ The only downside was the washing up cloth, as it doesn't really help to move cooking from pans etc. But this is only a small thing, all else was great.

Lovely little village, clean comfortable property.

✓ Beautiful location the cottage was very clean and a very comfy bed.

✗ Parking was difficult, our allocated space depended on the parking skill of those on either side and wasn't always available. There was no telephone signal so contacting the owners was impossible, and Wi-Fi was excellent when it worked but was off for 24 hours of our visit- so we were totally incommunicado. There were none of the usual 'extras' like extra blankets, books, board games or a welcome pint of milk.
