"We are already looking forward to our next visit!
✓ After some days in Lucca city we were excited to go up in the hills to Relais Farinati. Two sisters run the place with their 3 dogs and cat. It’s a 25 min drive from Lucca on a narrow road the last bit but it’s so worth it!
Amazing view that never ceases to impress. After some coffee with cookies for breakfast in the city we were so glad to see a real breakfast with eggs, bread (even glutenfree), yoghurt, fruits and so on. The dinner was really nice with new menu every day, and they always found options for miss glutenfree. They make everything themselves and have local wine.
Nice rooms with a view, fridge, AC etc. the pool was great, the house is stunning, nice walks uphill/downhill, and you can visit vineyards just down the road.
We loved it here and will return for sure.

✗ Since they use solar for some of their power and there were a few days of clouds, rain and no sun, our first morning we awoke to no hot water which was very disappointing since we had an early morning trip scheduled. After the first day we were fine and the remainder of the trip was incredible.
