Just perfect.

✓ A lovely little hotel hotel run by a lovely couple with the same name. They were so friendly and accomodating; it felt like being home. Breakfast was excellent, with a large variety of breads, yogurts, boiled egg, jams, honey, chocolate paste, cheeses, hams, juice, cofee/tea. They don't serve lunch or dinner, but for us this was not a problem. We would eat a late lunch on the mountains and shopped at MPreis Supermarket ( about 1 KM down from the accomodation) for some cheeses and cured meats with crackers. There's a guesthouse with reatuarant close by ( Moosalm) where you can eat honest Austrian cuisine( 15 min). Plenty of possibilities down in the town, but a steep 1 KM up by foot to get back. Taxi would set you back 12 or 14 euro. A very convenient free ski bus runs right next to the accomodation to the Gaislach lift, several times in the morning and late afternoon. Also, if you come by plane and train, the connection between Munich and Otztal trainstation is excellent, and from the trainstation there are frequent busses to get you to Solden for 11 euro (1 hour trip through a lovely valley). Super satisfied. Danke Herr und Frau Scheiber!
