Fabulous
✓ Great location, few mins to beach, shops, bars. Comfortable room with great air con and comfy beds. Pool is nice and shaded in areas so you can escape the sun if needed.
✗ No English channels on cable TV meant I couldn't make use of the huge flat screen!

Book this hotel!! I loved it
✓ I had the most amazing time at Tropical Suites by MIJ. The rooms are large, clean and comfy and the sunbeds are the comfiest I’ve ever had. All the staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Bea who goes out of her way to provide tips and help you on your way. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, relaxing and great place to stay. The location is perfect and it is very safe as there is a security guard on the premises in the evening until morning.

✓ this was a great property in Holbox - we had a lovely stay here. it was very clean and staff were lovely!

If we were to visit Isla Holbox again we’d stay at Tropical Suites again
✓ We loved the location (a few blocks from the square so it was quiet yet convenient to activities, restaurants, the beach, etc.). The staff was present from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm and very accommodating with any requests. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
✗ There wasn’t necessarily anything we didn’t like but fans where the lights are on all 3 levels would be great for enjoying the chairs outside of the rooms. The pool needed a bit more attention than it was getting (it was cloudy and not skimmed daily). That being said the tropical landscaping around the pool makes it harder to keep clean.

✗ We couldn’t use the pool by night due to lighting were off . This the reason I scored 9.

Calm and cozy
✓ Calm and clean hotel with big rooms and nice chilling spots. The staff was very helpful and kind.
✗ A bit further from the nightlife if that is what you are loooking for.

Big and comfortable room for good value
✓ The staff is super friendly. The rooms are huge and so are the beds. It is very clean. It has all you need and feels cozy.
✗ Unfortunately there was a sewage smell in the toilet. The internet was pretty slow.

✓ everybody was SO NICE and helpful, the staff did a great job! the bed was huge and had a lot of pillows, i loved that. the pool was nice and there is a rooftop.
✗ i once had breakfast there, which was not worth the money. you can have much better when you eat in one of the many restaurants around the hotel. i had a very nice and big room with a kitchen, but there were no glasses or cups, only two bowls and two forks and spoons…
