The Best B&B in Tunisia

✓ Everything about Dar Hkaïm is absolutely perfect. Toutou went out of his way to help and there was always someone cleaning, caring or just greeting and ask how I am doing. The extra effort was never to much for him and I will definitely recommend Dar Hkaïm without any doubt. The room is very beautiful with its own Tunisian traditional touch created by Toutou. I like the possibilities of preparing your own meal in the kitchen and the lovely blue yard where you can mediate or have a cup of coffee between the Blue coloured walls. It gives you such a positive energy with a lot of peace.

Amazing Stay

✓ This place has a genuine feel, with a friendly host and tasty breakfast. It's like being at home. If you prefer a more modern setting, you might want to check out other options. Here, you'll experience the real Tunisian way of living. Keep in mind, though, that it's a bit far from everything. But don't worry, taxis are very cheap in Tunisia generally and Sousse specially, so you can get around easily.

Warm, traditional and cozy stay

✓ The atmosphere was very cozy and the staff was super friendly. The room was also very nicely made. The staff prepared freshly baked cookies with your name on them which was very welcoming. The AC unit was also very good and can keep you comfortable even at 44 degrees outside temperature. The owner also organises tours which are very cheap compared to the others. He is also very resourceful and can get you anything available upon request.

✗ It might be a bit away from the city and sometimes need to walk about 800m to get a taxi. Other than that I do not have other suggestions for the hotel as it was a very pleasant stay

✗ Location is not clear, not easy to find by car. Car park was not clearly designated. Rooms and the place requires refreshing.

I recommend it, great experience.

✓ Very friendly and accommodating manager. Breakfast and the couscous meals were delicious. Even laundry service is available. The manager brought us on a tour to Monastir, which was a special experience. Very good price performance ratio.

The blue house stole my heart

✓ I liked the housing style and the room which I got.very clean and cozy. I enjoyed the breakfast and also the architecture of the building. Very traditional and easy to connect with it. Your soul answers quickly to the environment at this lovely house . I would like to thank the owner for being very polite,warm, helpful and very welcoming . The house is near all what you are going for in holiday. It is also located in a safe area. I felt very familar with everything in Dar Hkaiem. It is also affordable I love it See you again

✗ I didn't like that I have to leave and go back home for work. Apart from that, Dar Hkaiem is simply beautiful
