NOMAD Hostal - Barichara

I will miss this place so much.

✓ It's so beautiful there that I was able to rest my mind and think peacefully about what to do next. I slept comfortably well with the sounds of the nature. I woke up with the chirping greetings of the birds and I'm commune with the nature. The internet is fast. The staff are friendly. The location is a little far from the center but I don't mind. I love the place and I will miss it so much.

Fantastic experience

✓ I absolutely love this place. Flo, a really nice guy has created a really special place. It was so peaceful and a really good place to rest and rejuvenate. Sandra and José are beautiful people, they are so warm and welcoming. The food was amazing. I slept well and ate well!! I really recommend this place its an experience in itself. Located 15mins from Barichara is part of the charm. Its very easy to get a local bus at the top of the road or they can call a rickshaw if you prefer. The scenery on the way is lovely too.

✓ No glass windows. Never stayed in a hostel where all the doors and windows are open. It had the doors to circulate the air inside the bunks. Wonderful sleep. The best hostel I've ever stayed in.

✓ A truly beautiful location with clean, comfy rooms and beds, amazing communal spaces and absolutely delicious food all at a good price. Such a wonderful place to escape to for some peace and quiet and meet lovely people too.

✗ The only slight draw back is the location is quite far out of town - but that is what makes it special.

✓ The hostel is located between Barichara and Guane. So you need to take the bus or a TukTuk to go to one of these places. It is a beautiful and cosy place. Perfect to relax and retreat. The food is delicious. And very important for me: the beds are really comfortable. And you can ask the staff whatever you want to know. Flo has great recommendatins for hikes and other activities.

I would return for a longer stay if I had the chance

✓ The staff is beyond fantastic. I also enjoyed the company of the other guests. The room I had was great, including receiving more towels than what I usually get at other hotels here in Colombia! In the early morning, the songs of birds were a nice wake-up.

✗ The Booking listing said that the property takes credit card, but they told me in advance that they only accept cash or bank transfer.
