Martin's Dream Hotel

Safe bet, nice hotel.

✓ The hotel is located close to the Mons main attractions, at a calm street. Very welcoming reception, and very nice staff. My room was spacious and clean. There is a complementary bottle of water and a cattle to make tea in the room, and a small refrigerator. My bed was really comfortable. An ideal place to discover the city of Mons by foot. Breakfast is decent.

Great location, good price, friendly staff, and clean rooms with air conditioning!

✓ The hotel is located not far from the city center but was not difficult to drive to. The reception was very friendly upon arrival and offered parking at the location. I was shown my room and the air conditioner was already on so the room was very cool, something I very much appreciated since it was very humid outside. The room was very nice with a huge bathtub, small kitchen, separate shower with toilet room, and a lovely bed. The room was very quiet despite the city outside which was also really nice!

✗ There was a small mixup with the code to enter the second building but this was resolved quickly by the reception. A simple mistake, no big deal. The air vent in the bathroom seemed to have gathered a lot of dust in it. I have seen this in many hotels, not a deal breaker for me, just an attention to detail I was not looking for but happened to catch my eye. The parking was nice but when I went down for breakfast I noticed more cars than parking spaces. It seems it was overbooked so depending on when someone would like to check out this may cause an issue as some cars were blocked in. Very small things in comparison to other hotels and I would not let this discourage me from staying here again.

The perfect place for a city trip in Mons.

✓ Very friendly welcome and beautiful spacious rooms with all comfort. Ideal location to explore the city. It is convenient that the hotel has its own parking (extra charge).

✓ Large room, very quiet and comfortable. Not far from railway station and University of Mons where I was visiting. Good breakfast. Really helpful receptionist when I checked in

✗ Very minor criticism but there weren't many decaff options . None of the sachets in the room were decaff and no decaff tea or coffee at breakfast.
