✓ The unique decor, spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities.

✗ It’s not something that I didn’t like it, but wanted to alert you that the shower drain in Room Ferbos needs to be cleared. A very brief shower will overflow onto the bathroom floor, and you don’t want that.

✓ The location and feel of the neighborhood was just perfect. My room was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning and everything in the room worked well. Loved the interior stone walls and high ceilings, making the room feel even more spacious. Nice touch providing packaged biscuits, bottled orange juice and water, and coffee or tea in room for self-serve breakfast. Margot was very helpful and easy to reach and communicate with.

✗ There was nothing not to love, except perhaps climbing up and down the stairs with luggage, but I knew there was no elevator when booking.

Historic rooms in perfect neighbourhood

✓ Perfect location in the best neighbourhood! Beautiful rooms in a historic building (even though a bit disfigured by the added bathroom). The small breakfast was appreciated and the owner full of care.

✗ Only tiny details: Communication beforehand took some extra effort (and roaming charges) since a confirmation of received check-in information was required. The bathroom layout could have been a bit better.

Lovely property in a beautiful area.

✓ Good communication before stay with clear & easy instructions on how to access room. Host has excellent English. The place is in the beautiful area of Chartrons. I felt very safe here which is so important as a solo traveller. The area is a 10/20 min walk from the main centre but is a much nicer area to stay in than the very centre. The room (Elisée) was lovely and spacious. The quirkiest and coolest room I’ve ever stayed in. Good heating system. Lovely touches like complimentary Lillet, water and orange juice. Silent at night. Nice hot & powerful shower. Cleaned well.

✗ Would be lovely to have a comfortable chair in the room to relax in rather than the bed or the small one at the desk. WiFi was extremely poor.
