Fabulous hotel and staff, close to downtown. Great buffet breakfast

✓ Location is ideal for Downtown - little more than 100m from Souk al Bahar and the fountains, Dubai Mall and the Burj. It's definitely an up-market hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Courtyard is superb for evening drinks and people watching (and shisha, if that's your thing!). Nezessausi bar is a great sports bar with good grub and beers. Reef & Beef is the very upscale restaurant, used for a fabulous buffet breakfast. Well worth the extra.

✗ Rooms are starting to look/feel a little "tired". Couple of items didn't work in my room and, although maintenance came and "fixed" them, they still didn't work!
