Passable

✗ The room was clean but not painted nor renovated in the last 30 years or so. The lobby was dark and outdated. There was no elevator. The service are very basic.

Nice place but nothing special

✓ Clean room, helpful staff ( I called in advance asking for the means of bus transport and they asked it quite well

✗ The place is just averagely good, but nothing special/ memory point tbh.

Stay here you won’t regret it!

✓ A lovely hotel with friendly staff. I arrived early and they were kind enough to allow an early check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar area / garden didn't seem to be open, even though I arrived early afternoon. I didn't enquire about this, as it was only a couple of minutes walk into Les Contamines for food and drinks.

✗ No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. This seemed to be the norm for both France and Italy on my TMB hike.

Enjoyed it on my GR5 hike, the perfect place to get rested.

✓ Very cosy, nice and clean! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was just great.
